FAQs
What is Tukario Safety Products?
We are a husband and wife team that created this company so that we can create potentially life saving products. Our premiere product is the Vent Vault, a device designed to help civilians during traffic stops and law enforcement interactions.
What exactly is the Vent Vault?
The Vent Vault is a neon colored plastic card and document holder designed to be very distinguishable from a weapon. It clips into the air vents of your vehicle for increased visibility during traffic stops. It’s designed to carry your license, registration, and proof of insurance along with one more card such as permit to carry or medical ID card.
How did you come up with the idea of the Vent Vault?
We came up with the idea of the Vent Vault after being pulled over by police while having our two dogs with us. Noelle wanted to have her purse and documents ready, but they were somewhere on the floor of the car and Brian wasn’t going to start reaching around the vehicle, at night, while being approach by an officer. That’s when we realized that there has to be a better way.
Is the plastic safe?
Yes! We specifically picked Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, or ASA for short, because of it’s thermal and UV resistance in addition to its high strength and durability. Early tests with PLA, ABS, and other plastics resulted in melted and deformed materials in the middle of the Arizona summer. ASA is resistant up to 212°F, meaning that the air temperature in your car would have to exceed that temperature to cause damage to the device.
Who is the Vent Vault designed for?
Every motorist. Since 2017, more than 800 people have been killed after being pulled over in the United States of America. Different investigations reveal different statistics; such as a New York Times investigation that found that between 2016-2021, more than 400 unarmed drivers and passengers were killed by police during vehicle stops.

Are you saying that all Law Enforcement Officers are bad?
No, absolutely not.
The fact of the matter is that recruiting and training practices are so incredibly varied from state to state, county to county, even between different departments that exist in the same county. Recruitment and training practices also change throughout time, and a lot of departments have been lowering their requirements. Unfortunately, as civilians we do not know what kind of individual we are going to get when we see the flashing red and blue lights in our rearview mirror.
Are you going to get someone calm and relaxed who just wants to protect their community? Are you going to get someone who is high-strung and about to snap? Are you going to get someone who is looking for an excuse? Or are you just going to get someone who is normally very calm and professional, but just watched as one of their colleagues was shot during a previous call?
You just don’t know.
